After 18 months serving as an offical representive of Jesus Christ in the Brasil Florianopolis Mission. I am full of emotions as I write my last email to all of you. I want to start thanking EVERYONE for all the support this past year and a half. I am so grateful that I have wonderful family and friends that love the gospel and support me in the things that I love. I would like to share with you guys 18 things that I learned in the past 18 months. (but dont worry I have learned alot more that i can count and have time to write)
So this week was really wonderful!!! We taught Fernanda and she accepted the invite to be baptized and we are working on that now! She is amazing and I love her soooo much!
This week was super interesting…. Something that I learned over and over again is that the gospel is for everyone.
Soooooooooooo AFTER THIS WEEK I CAN FINALLY START WORKING LIKE NORMAL! This week we still couldn’t do much but we started teaching the husband of a Irma in our ward they are super great!! Also we had mission tour, where a general authority comes and talks with us. Elder Adukites and Elder Lynn G. Robbins came. It was a super fast meeting but it was sooo good. I liked alot of what Elder Robbins said. He talked about as missionaries we need to expect miracles, especially when we are being obedient. I love this work. But I also love the Gospel because it just isnt for missionaries. It is for everyone. The gospel is the good news that everyone needs. The gospel is knowing that our families can be eternal. It is knowing that we can be forgiven. It is knowing that we have a Savior. It is knowing that there is life after death. I love the gospel and i love the opportunity I have to share the good news with others. I hope you all have an amazing week!
So Last week was honestly one of the weeks I have grown the most and seen the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I dont have much time but this week I was literally in the hospital for the whole week but I am so grateful for the missionaries in my zone and the sisters that live with me. They took such good care of me. The Elders one night went to the hospital to and had a Family Home Evening with me and the Sisters. I am so grateful for EVERYONE that has helped me this week and prayed for me and loved me. I love you all! And I hope you have a great week!
Family and Friends, I hope everything is wonderful for you guys! I love and miss you all!
